What is BNYS?

Bachelor of Naturopathy & Yoga Science (BNYS) is a four and a half year undergraduate programme which makes the students gain more information and be familiar with Naturopathy. So what is Naturopathy? It is a branch of science which focuses on the healing ability of oneself. Through Naturopathy, an individual can learn about self clearing measures for the body without using external factors such as medicines or internal factors such as hormonal, immune, nervous and excretory systems.

Students who wish to learn about the medicinal practice in a non-traditional way can opt for this degree. However, if the candidates fail to meet the eligibility of qualifying 10+2 (or equivalent) examination, then they can opt for a 1 year certificate program called “Treatment Attendant Training Course” from The National Institute of Naturopathy, Pune. The eligibility for this course is 10th standard pass.
